Privacy policy

In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking, analytics or advertising, and loads nothing from third parties: fonts and images come from its own server. Personal data is only processed where that is technically needed to deliver the pages, or when you send me an e-mail.

Hosting

The website runs on a server from netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. netcup processes the data that comes up when you visit only on my behalf and on my instructions, under a data processing agreement as required by Art. 28 GDPR.

Visiting the website

When you open this website, your browser automatically sends data to the server. This includes:

• your IP address
• the date and time of the request
• the page or file requested, the HTTP status code and the amount of data sent
• the page you came from (referrer), if your browser sends it
• your browser and operating system (user agent)

The server needs this data to deliver the pages and to run securely and reliably, for example to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is a working and secure website. The data is not combined with other data and not used to recognise visitors or analyse their behaviour. Where it is stored in log files, they are deleted after 14 days at the latest. If a specific security incident has to be investigated, the affected entries are kept until it is resolved.

Cookies

The public pages set no cookies and store nothing on your device. Only the password-protected area for managing the site's content (/admin) sets a strictly necessary cookie after login to keep the session (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Visitors never come into contact with it.

Contact by e-mail

If you e-mail me, I process your e-mail address, your name (if given) and your message to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract. I delete the data once your request has been dealt with, unless legal retention periods require me to keep it.

Link to Discord

This website links to the Cropworks Discord server. It is a plain link: no data is sent to Discord unless you click it. Once you do, you leave this website and Discord's privacy policy applies.

Encryption

Connections to this website are encrypted with TLS (you can tell by “https://” in the address bar), so others can't read the data on its way.

Your rights

You have the right to

• access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
• have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restrict its processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and
• receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR).

A short e-mail to kontakt@blaudroid.de is enough.

Right to lodge a complaint

You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example in the country where you live. The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg:

You don't have to provide any personal data, but the website can't be shown without the connection data that is technically needed. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
